I am a third -year medical student and I joined the lab in October 2025.
Ciliopathies are one of the underlying factors of age-related neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive loss. Using stem cell technology, I am focusing on  understanding what is the role of the kinase Ndr2 in the regulation of ciliary structure and function in age-related pathologies and whether restoring the Ndr2-cilia axis could represent a promising therapeutic strategy.
