I am a doctoral candidate since October 2022. My project focuses on the molecular neurobiology field, particularly on the regulation of the Hippo pathway by Ndr kinases during aging. Previously, I participated in projects that involved immuncyto- and histochemistry methods focused on interneurons and immediate early genes, followed by fluorescent imaging microscopy with high resolution confocal imaging setups. Moreover, I performed behavioral tests (e.g., fear conditioning, elevated plus maze, open field) in parallel to electrophysiological experiments investigating the role of neuropeptide signaling in synaptic transmission. Currently, I am working on molecular cloning techniques to intervene the Hippo pathway cascade in in vitro and in vivo mouse models.
